Scottish language and expression.

Designs based on Scottish Gaelic words and phrases, drawing on traditional letterforms and balanced typographic layout, prepared in the studio and translated into clear, considered engravings for glass.

Each piece is hand-sandblasted, with optional personalisation added as a single, structured inscription.

From Artwork to Engraving

Each commission follows the same studio process, from artwork preparation and proof approval through to hand sandblasting and finishing in our Fife workshop.

Artwork Preparation

A digital proof is provided for approval before engraving.

Traditional Sandblasting

Each piece is engraved by hand using traditional sandblast techniques.

The Story Behind the Collection

Engraved glassware shaped by the character of Scottish Gaelic, a language that moves between humour, rhythm and direct expression, influencing how each phrase is arranged and balanced on glass.

Letter spacing, line breaks and emphasis are carefully controlled to ensure clarity and flow, allowing each engraving to read cleanly while retaining the tone and structure of the original wording.
