The Story Behind the Collection 

The flat, upright surface of a display plaque allows text and imagery to be arranged as a complete composition. Crests, signatures, maps and longer inscriptions can be balanced within a defined frame, making the format especially useful for presentation pieces and commissions where layout carries as much importance as the engraving itself.
