How Personalisation Works
Engraving is not an automated add-on.
Each piece is individually prepared in our Fife studio, composed for the glass and engraved by hand.
The process is simple. Deliberate. Considered.
-
Commissioned
Enter your wording exactly as you would like it engraved.
Names, dates and inscriptions are reproduced as provided.
If you are unsure about format, a simple layout will always engrave cleanly.
-
Prepared
Each design is laid out individually to suit the chosen glass and engraving area.
Spacing, alignment and scale are adjusted so the finished piece reads clearly and sits in balance with the form.
Layouts are prepared in the studio, not generated from templates. -
Approved
Before engraving begins, a digital artwork proof is provided for approval.
This allows spelling, wording and dates to be confirmed before production.
Engraving follows the approved artwork exactly. -
Engraved
Each piece is sandblasted in our studio using traditional techniques for depth and permanence.
The engraving is carried out directly from the approved proof, ensuring consistency from layout to finished glass. -
Final
Once complete, your glassware is inspected, cleaned and prepared for dispatch within the stated lead time.
Small batch. Hand finished. Made to last. -
Notes
- Minor factual corrections may be made prior to approval. Further revisions or additional proofs may incur an artwork charge.
- Engraving begins once written approval has been received and follows the approved artwork.
- Extended engraving options are available for longer or more complex inscriptions and can be arranged on request.
- Personalised pieces are prepared to order and cannot be returned once artwork has been approved.
