The Story Behind the Design
Uisge Beatha — the original Gaelic term for whisky — evokes centuries of Scottish tradition. This deeply engraved glass pays tribute to that heritage with a powerful visual: the ancient Celtic symbol for water, flowing into knotwork that connects past and present.
Crafted using the traditional sandcarving technique, the satin-like finish of the engraving is permanent and tactile — not a surface print or laser etch. The glass’s weight and shape make it a pleasure to hold, perfect for sipping your favourite dram by firelight or gifting with meaning.
