About This Commission
This glass display plaque is designed for crests, insignia, badges, logos and other symbolic artwork supplied by the client.
The artwork is assessed and prepared for engraving, with layout, proportion and line weight adjusted to suit both the design and the selected plaque size. Names, dates, ranks, presentation wording or dedications can be incorporated where appropriate.
The finished composition is arranged so the principal emblem remains clear, with supporting wording balanced around it rather than competing for attention.

The Commission Process
Each commission is prepared individually in our studio, with artwork reviewed and approved before engraving begins.
Artwork Review
We review the crest, insignia or reference provided and assess how it will translate clearly into engraving.
Design & Engraving Layout
Where required, artwork is refined or redrawn for engraving. An Engraving Layout is prepared and issued for approval before engraving begins.
Approval, Engraving & Dispatch
Once approved, the piece is engraved by hand in our Fife studio and prepared for presentation or display.
