Handwriting carries more than words. It reflects the rhythm, character and individuality of the person who wrote it, whether it's a personal note, a signature, a presentation inscription or a historic document.
We work from original handwriting, signatures, letters, certificates and other written material, carefully preparing each piece so it can be faithfully engraved onto glass while preserving the character of the original.
Each commission is individually assessed before artwork is prepared, allowing layouts to be developed for personal gifts, corporate presentations and commemorative pieces alike.

The Commission Process
Each commission is prepared individually in our studio, with original material carefully reviewed and translated into engraving.
Original Material
Provide a photograph, scan or handwritten piece. We review what you send and assess how it will translate into engraving.
Artwork Preparation
Your design is redrawn and refined to preserve character while ensuring clarity in engraving. A digital proof is prepared and shared for approval.
Engraving & Finishing
Once approved, the piece is engraved by hand in our Fife studio and prepared for presentation or display.
