About This Commission
This bevelled glass display plaque centres on a street map of your chosen location, arranged within a circular composition.
Names sit above the map, with a short inscription below. The map detail and lettering are prepared together, with scale and spacing adjusted to suit the selected plaque size.
Available in three sizes, each plaque is sandblasted by hand to produce a permanent satin finish within the glass.

The Commission Process
Each commission begins with the personal material you would like us to include, whether handwriting, a map, an inscription or another source. We review what you send and shape the engraving around the piece being created.
Original Material
Send us a clear photograph, scan or other source material together with the details you would like included. We assess suitability and agree the direction before design preparation begins.
Design & Engraving Layout
The material is prepared for engraving and arranged as a considered composition for the chosen piece. An Engraving Layout is then shared for review, with one consolidated refinement included within the agreed brief.
Approval, Engraving & Presentation
Once approved, the piece is engraved and checked in our Fife studio before being prepared for presentation or dispatch.
