Whisky Glasses

Whisky glasses offer a contained, well-defined surface for engraving, suited to clear and balanced compositions.
Designs are prepared to sit within the visible area of the glass, whether on a straight-sided tumbler or a gently curved form, ensuring clarity and proportion.
Engraved by hand in our Fife studio, each piece is guided by precision, restraint, and the character of the glass itself.

From Artwork to Engraving

Each commission follows the same studio process, from artwork preparation and proof approval through to hand sandblasting and finishing in our Fife workshop.

Artwork Preparation

A digital proof is provided for approval before engraving.

Traditional Sandblasting

Each piece is engraved by hand using traditional sandblast techniques.

The Story Behind the Collection

The compact surface of a whisky glass favours initials, monograms, and smaller compositions, where spacing and legibility are key.
Placement is adjusted to account for curvature and viewing angle, ensuring the engraving remains clear both in use and at rest.
The result is a considered composition that sits naturally within the glass, holding its clarity over time.
