The Story Behind Your Design
Tradition meets tribute in this compact, ceremonial firing glass engraved with your own Masonic lodge crest or badge. Unframed and elegantly simple, the design keeps the spotlight on what matters most, your lodge identity. With optional personalisation for name, rank, year, and whether or not to include the ‘G’, it’s a meaningful way to mark milestones and honour service during formal toasts and festive boards.
About Your Glass
This traditional Masonic firing glass is modelled on 18th-century lodgeware, featuring a crisp conical bowl set on a rounded, weighted base. Made from 10 % lead crystal, it delivers the clear, resonant “click” required for firing toasts while feeling substantial in the hand. Every glass is individually masked, sandblasted, and polished in our Fife studio. Standard engravings take around 30–40 minutes to prepare; personalised crests or inscriptions add a little more time, ensuring a permanent satin finish worthy of the Craft’s heritage.

Personalisation Guidelines
We include up to 30 characters of complimentary engraving underneath the design (including spaces). This ensures your message sits comfortably and remains legible beneath the artwork.
As part of this service, we’ll send one digital layout preview for approval before engraving begins. If you need a little more, additional characters are charged at 30p each, and any further layout previews are £2.50 each.
We always aim for a layout that balances beautifully and suits the shape of the glass, but final positioning is at the discretion of the studio.
Please note: Complimentary engraving is placed on the same side as the design. For alternative layouts or engraving on the reverse, please contact the studio before placing your order.
A note on returns
Once a piece includes any personalisation (even complimentary characters) it becomes made just for you and is non-returnable unless faulty. Please double-check names, dates, and spelling before you confirm.
Artwork Approval
Before engraving begins, you’ll receive a digital proof of your layout. Please check all spelling, dates, names, punctuation, and design placement carefully.
Engraving is completed exactly to the approved proof, and any errors not flagged at the approval stage (including spelling) are the customer’s responsibility. Re-engraving or replacement costs may apply.
Delivery & Returns
We carefully pack each order in eco-friendly materials wherever possible. Orders are sent via Royal Mail Tracked delivery, with standard UK delivery typically taking 2–4 working days from dispatch (excluding Sundays and public holidays).

Our Technique
Our traditional sandblast engraving delivers crisp detail, deep texture, and a tactile satin finish that stands apart from laser or transfer methods. Hand-engraved in our Fife studio using single-use stencils, each piece is prepared, blasted, and polished by hand for exceptional sharpness and permanence.
How it’s done:
- Artwork is refined as a vector for clean, precise lines.
- A UV-exposed stencil is created for single-use masking.
- Stencils and tape are applied to the glass by hand.
- Each piece is sandblasted by hand for depth and detail.
- Finally, it’s cleaned, polished, inspected, and gift-boxed.
A time-honoured process that combines heritage craft with contemporary precision.
A Note on Styling
To showcase the quality of our glassware, some images include bottles, books, or props for styling. These are for context only and are not included. Your purchase is for the glassware only. Unless explicitly stated otherwise (for example, a gift set containing two glasses or a decanter and glasses), each item is sold individually.
