About This Commission
Each design is prepared from the lodge crest or badge supplied and arranged to suit the proportions of the tankard.
Where appropriate, additional Masonic elements such as the Working Tools, acacia leaves or Square and Compasses can be incorporated around the central emblem. A name, office, year or short presentation inscription can also be included.
The crest, supporting symbols and wording are arranged as one composition, with spacing and proportion adjusted so each remains clear on the glass.

The Commission Process
Each Masonic commission is prepared with care for the crest, emblem, office or inscription being represented. We review the material supplied and consider how it will translate clearly and appropriately into engraving.
Artwork Review
Share the crest, emblem, wording or other material you would like us to work from. We assess the artwork, confirm what is suitable for engraving and agree the direction before design preparation begins.
Design & Engraving Layout
Where required, artwork is prepared or redrawn for engraving and arranged to suit the chosen piece. An Engraving Layout is then shared for review, with one consolidated refinement included within the agreed brief.
