The Story Behind the Design

Jardin brings together branches, blossom, garden birds and butterflies in a wraparound engraving. Details reveal themselves as the piece is turned, creating the feeling of looking through a garden.

Spaces between the engraved elements allow light to become part of the composition. Line weight, spacing and proportion are adjusted to suit the shape of each piece and keep the design clear on glass.

A short personal inscription may be included with this design. Each engraving is arranged in the studio to suit the composition of the glass.

The Tulip Presentation Bowl features a gently curved body that opens outward before returning to a defined rim, creating a balanced and contemporary silhouette. The rounded wall provides a central engraving area suited to crests, institutional logos and award inscriptions.
