The Story Behind the Design

Venetian lacework adapted into a structured wedding party design, allowing names, wedding roles and dates to be incorporated within a consistent engraving motif.

Venetian needle lace has long been associated with celebration and craftsmanship. Here, its distinctive structure is adapted into a coordinated engraving that extends beyond individual gifts to create matching wedding venue pieces, allowing names, dates and table details to be incorporated within a consistent decorative language.

Whether used for welcome plaques, table numbers, guestbook displays, centrepieces or champagne coolers, each design is prepared to work across different objects while maintaining the same proportion, rhythm and clarity. The result is a collection of engraved wedding venue pieces that bring visual continuity from the ceremony through to the reception.

Line weight and spacing are adjusted to retain definition across finer engraved elements.

The Handmade Bubble Base Cylinder Vase features a straight-sided form rising from a solid, sculpted bubble foot. The uninterrupted vertical wall provides a clean engraving surface suited to crests, monograms or commemorative text.

Its balanced proportions allow it to function equally as a display piece or working vase, offering a structured, contemporary alternative to more ornate floral forms.
