Carrying a Design Through the Celebration

Many wedding details are chosen individually.

The glassware comes from one supplier. The signage comes from another. Gifts for the wedding party are selected separately. By the time everything comes together, each element may be meaningful in its own right, but there is often little to connect them visually.

The Venetian Lace collection was created to explore a different approach.

Inspired by the ornate lacework associated with Venetian bridal traditions, the collection uses a single engraved motif that can be carried throughout the celebration. Rather than appearing on just one object, the design is adapted across glassware, display plaques and presentation pieces, allowing different parts of the day to share a common visual language.

Wedding Party Glassware

For many couples, personalised glassware forms part of the wedding itself.

Champagne flutes for the bride and groom, gifts for bridesmaids and groomsmen, tankards, whisky glasses and wine glasses can all be prepared using the same engraving motif, with names, roles and dates incorporated into the design.

The result is a collection of individual pieces that still feel connected to one another.

Venue Signage

The same design can also be carried into the venue.

Welcome plaques, guestbook displays and table numbers help create continuity throughout the celebration, with each piece sharing the same decorative framework and engraving style.

Used together, these details create a subtle thread running through the ceremony and reception rather than a series of unrelated items.

Pieces Intended to Last Beyond the Day

Some items have a role during the wedding itself. Others remain long afterwards.

Display plaques engraved with wedding vows, memorial tributes or personal dedications often become keepsakes that continue to be displayed in the home. The engraving that welcomed guests or marked a special moment during the celebration takes on a different role once the day has passed.

Coordinated Presentation Pieces

The collection also extends beyond traditional wedding glassware.

Presentation bowls, understated floral vessels and other engraved pieces can be prepared using the same motif, creating centrepieces, gifts or commemorative objects that sit naturally alongside the rest of the collection.

Rather than introducing a new design language, these pieces continue the same visual theme in a form suited to display and presentation.

A Connected Approach

The Venetian Lace collection was never intended to be a collection of individual products.

It was developed as a collection of related pieces, each carrying the same engraving language in a form appropriate to its purpose.

From wedding party gifts and venue signage to presentation pieces and keepsakes, the intention is simply to allow the details of the celebration to feel thoughtfully connected.
