About This Commission

Each design is developed from the lodge crest, badge or emblem supplied, with the wider engraving area allowing a more expansive composition.

Names, rank, office, suffix, year or presentation wording can be incorporated where appropriate, with the individual elements arranged together so the crest remains the focal point.

Line weight, spacing and proportion are resolved for the selected glass format so the complete composition remains clear at engraving scale.

Handmade 20cm straight-sided presentation bowl with raised, layered glass foot.

The Handmade Footed Presentation Bowl features a clean cylindrical wall rising from a substantial, tiered glass foot. The elevated base creates separation between surface and engraving, giving crests and inscriptions visual prominence.

The straight vertical sides provide a consistent engraving field suited to emblems, lodge marks and formal presentation text. Designed as a display piece rather than a serving bowl, it carries presence and weight appropriate to ceremonial or corporate recognition.

Every Masonic crest presents its own considerations for engraving. Where interpretation, refinement or redrawing is required to improve clarity or preserve heraldic detail, this is assessed as part of our Bespoke Design Service. Any applicable Design & Layout Fee will be confirmed in your Bespoke Commission Summary before design work begins.

Approved artwork is retained within our studio archive, making it straightforward to commission additional presentation pieces or future work using the same design. Where the existing artwork can be used without further design work, an additional Design & Layout Fee will not normally apply.
