About This Commission

Prepared individually from your lodge crest or badge, this apothecary style decanter can incorporate our exclusive Masonic presentation border, creating a formal layout for lodge presentations and commemorative gifts.

Each design is prepared from your lodge crest or badge and arranged to suit the proportions of the tankard. Where appropriate, additional symbolic elements, including the Working Tools, acacia leaves and Square and Compasses, can be incorporated to frame the central emblem and create a formal presentation design.

A personal inscription can be added beneath the crest, whether marking an Installation, a period of service, a presentation from the lodge or another significant occasion.

Every design is prepared individually from the artwork supplied, ensuring the finished engraving remains clear, well proportioned and faithful to the original emblem.

Form & Proportion

Vintage-inspired apothecary-style bottle with rounded shoulders and wooden-topped cork closure.

  • Height 174 mm
  • Width 94 mm
  • Capacity 700 ml

The Apothecary Bottle features a broad cylindrical body with softly rounded shoulders and a traditional cork stopper finished with a wooden cap. Its proportions evoke classic pharmacy and spirits bottles while providing a clear engraving panel across the front face.

Designed as a versatile, character-led piece, it suits small-batch spirits, infusions or display use, offering an accessible and distinctive option within the range.

The Commission Process

Each commission is prepared individually in our studio, with artwork reviewed and approved before engraving begins.

Artwork Review

Artwork Review

We review the crest, emblem or inscription provided and assess how it will translate clearly into engraving.

Artwork Preparation

Artwork Preparation

Where required, the artwork is refined or redrawn for engraving. A digital proof is then prepared and shared for approval.

Engraving & Finishing

Engraving & Finishing

Once approved, the piece is engraved by hand in our Fife studio and prepared for presentation or dispatch.

Every Masonic crest presents its own considerations for engraving. Where refinement or redraw is recommended to improve clarity or preserve heraldic detail, this is confirmed before production begins and included within the approval process.

Approved artwork is retained within our studio archive, making it straightforward to prepare additional presentation pieces or future commissions using the same design.
