The Story Behind the Design
An analogue guitar amplifier circuit celebrating the electronic components and signal pathways that shape the sound of electric music.
Long before digital modelling became commonplace, guitar amplifiers relied on carefully designed analogue circuits to shape, colour and amplify every note. Resistors, capacitors, transformers and valves each played their part, creating the distinctive character and dynamic response that generations of musicians came to recognise.
This engraved design interprets the layout of a classic amplifier circuit board as a detailed technical composition, with signal pathways linking components across the surface in the same way they would within the amplifier itself. Prepared specifically for engraving, it celebrates the engineering that sits behind the music, where electronics and craftsmanship combine to create a sound that has defined countless recordings and live performances.
Line weight and spacing are adjusted to retain definition across finer engraved elements.
