The Story Behind the Design
An engraved whisky glass featuring the Fairy Pools on the Isle of Skye, capturing the crystal clear pools, cascading waterfalls and the dramatic backdrop of the Black Cuillin. Individually engraved in our Fife studio with optional personalisation.
The Fairy Pools are among Scotland's most celebrated natural landscapes. Flowing from the slopes of the Black Cuillin, the clear waters cascade through a series of waterfalls and vivid blue pools before continuing their journey across Glen Brittle.
This engraving captures the view towards the Cuillin, where the waterfalls spill into the still pools below and the mountains rise beyond. The composition reflects the contrast that makes the location so memorable, combining the movement of flowing water with the permanence of the surrounding landscape.
An optional inscription can commemorate a visit to Skye, a favourite walk, a special occasion or a lasting connection to one of Scotland's most iconic landscapes.
The engraving is arranged to preserve the character and proportions of the landscape, maintaining clarity and recognisability when engraved.
