About This Commission
This self standing optical crystal award has a circular face with a subtle taper, giving the engraving a clearly defined central field.
Each commission begins with customer supplied material, which may include a logo, crest, illustration, wording or other artwork.
The supplied material is assessed and arranged for the award, with scale, spacing and line weight adjusted where necessary to suit the circular engraving area. Names, titles, dates, award wording or additional presentation text can be incorporated where appropriate, with the complete layout prepared for approval before engraving.

The Commission Process
Corporate awards are developed around the purpose of the presentation, the material supplied and the form of the piece itself. We consider proportion, engraving suitability and presentation from the outset so the finished work feels resolved rather than simply branded.
Artwork Review
Share the award details, branding, inscription and any supporting artwork. We review the material, assess how it will work on the chosen piece and agree the direction before design preparation begins.
Design & Engraving Layout
Where required, artwork is refined or redrawn for engraving and arranged to suit the form of the award. An Engraving Layout is then shared for review, with one consolidated refinement included within the agreed brief.
Approval, Engraving & Dispatch
Once approved, the award is engraved and checked in our Fife studio before being prepared for presentation or dispatch.
