You’ll have full approval before anything is produced, and we never charge extra for artwork preparation. Our role is to present your brand confidently and clearly, engraved into glass that feels as good as it looks.

Complimentary engraving includes up to 30 characters placed on the same side as the design. We always aim for a layout that balances beautifully and suits the shape of the glass, but final positioning is at the discretion of the studio.

Before engraving begins, you’ll receive an email with a digital proof of your layout. Please check all spelling, dates, names, punctuation, and design placement carefully.

As each piece is engraved to your specification, personalised orders cannot be returned once artwork has been approved.

Every logo, crest, or line of text is redrawn as vector artwork to ensure accuracy and legibility on glass. From there, each element is composed to suit the shape and scale of your chosen piece, taking into account viewing angles, balance and how the engraving interacts with light.

Once final artwork is approved, the engraving is completed by hand using traditional sandblasting — a slow, analogue process that creates a smooth, tactile finish you can feel with your fingertips. The result is a piece that represents your organisation with quiet confidence, and one that can be displayed proudly long after the moment has passed.

Precision Sandblast Engraving

Every piece we engrave is produced using traditional sandblasting — a method valued for its sharp definition, durability and ability to reproduce detailed artwork with accuracy. This approach ensures that logos, crests and inscriptions appear clean, balanced and presentation-ready, whether produced as one-off gifts or series of matching pieces.

  1. Artwork Prepared for Accuracy

    Your logo, crest or inscription is redrawn as precise vector artwork, ensuring clean lines and balanced proportions. This step is essential for maintaining brand integrity and achieving a polished final engraving. We adjust spacing, scale and layout so the design sits naturally on the chosen glass.

  2. Creating the Single-Use Stencil

    The prepared artwork is transferred onto a specialist stencil through UV exposure. Each stencil is made for a single engraving only, which keeps edges crisp and avoids the softening that comes from reuse. The stencil is carefully applied by hand to protect all areas that should remain clear.

  3. Hand-Engraved Using Controlled Sandblasting

    Inside the blasting cabinet, a fine stream of aluminium oxide is directed onto the exposed areas of the glass. This stage is completed entirely by hand to ensure even depth, clean definition and a satin finish that reads professionally in all lighting. The result is a permanent engraving with clarity that suits both presentation events and long-term display.

  4. Finishing, Polishing & Quality Inspection

    After engraving, each piece is cleaned, polished and checked for alignment, consistency and visual balance. Logos are reviewed for proportion, text is inspected for clarity, and the finish is assessed from multiple angles. Only when the piece meets our studio’s standards is it boxed for delivery.
