Some places are remembered for a single landmark. The Isle of Skye is remembered for a succession of them.

The roads twist between mountains and sea, each corner revealing another view that seems somehow more dramatic than the last. Waterfalls tumble into crystal clear pools, ancient rock pinnacles rise above the landscape and the jagged skyline of the Black Cuillin dominates the horizon.

These four engraved designs explore different parts of Skye, each capturing a place that has become part of the island's identity.

The Fairy Pools

Fed by streams descending from the Black Cuillin, the Fairy Pools have become one of Scotland's most photographed landscapes. The clear water, natural rock formations and surrounding mountains create a scene that feels almost unreal.

Our engraving captures the movement of the waterfalls alongside the calm reflections of the pools, preserving the balance between flowing water and the permanence of the mountains beyond.

The Old Man of Storr

Standing high above the Trotternish Ridge, the Old Man of Storr has become one of Scotland's defining landmarks.

Its distinctive pinnacle has inspired photographers, walkers and artists for generations. Our engraving focuses on the scale and character of the rock formation, allowing its unmistakable silhouette to speak for itself.

The Black Cuillin

Few mountain ranges in Britain possess the character of the Black Cuillin.

Their dark gabbro ridges, steep corries and serrated skyline have earned an international reputation among mountaineers. Even viewed from a distance, the range conveys a sense of permanence and scale that defines much of Skye's landscape.

The engraving reflects that dramatic profile, celebrating one of Scotland's most recognisable mountain ranges.

The Inaccessible Pinnacle

Known simply as the In Pinn, this remarkable blade of rock is unique among Scotland's Munros.

For many climbers it represents the culmination of years spent in the mountains. Reaching its summit demands confidence, commitment and a head for exposure.

The engraving captures its distinctive profile, celebrating one of the most iconic objectives in British mountaineering.

A Landscape That Stays With You

Although each engraving stands alone, together they tell a broader story of the Isle of Skye. Water, rock and mountain combine to create a landscape that continues to inspire walkers, climbers and travellers from around the world.

Some of my own most memorable wildlife encounters happened there too. My first sea otter appeared unexpectedly while swimming around one of Skye's castles, and it was also where I first saw dolphins in the wild. Those moments remain inseparable from the island itself. Like the mountains and waterfalls, they become part of the memories people take home.

Each design in this collection is engraved individually in our Fife studio, preserving a different corner of an island that leaves a lasting impression long after the journey home.
