About This Commission
This design presents a Scottish clan crest badge in its familiar belt and buckle form, with the clan motto carried within the belt and the clan name incorporated into the wider composition.
The selected badge is prepared from established reference material, with line weight, spacing and lettering adjusted where necessary for engraving on glass. The structure of the original design is retained while keeping the smaller heraldic details clear at engraving scale.

Send us the crest, insignia or reference material you would like included. We assess the artwork, confirm what is suitable for engraving and agree the direction before design preparation begins.
Design & Engraving Layout
Where required, artwork is prepared or redrawn for engraving and arranged to suit the chosen piece. An Engraving Layout is then shared for review, with one consolidated refinement included within the agreed brief.
Approval, Engraving & Presentation
Once approved, the piece is engraved and checked in our Fife studio before being prepared for presentation or dispatch.
