The Story Behind the Design
The principal symbols of the Fellowcraft Degree brought together as a coordinated three piece whisky set, with the tracing board, Square & Compasses, and Working Tools each engraved onto a separate piece.
The Fellowcraft Degree explores the pursuit of knowledge, encouraging the Mason to develop both intellect and character through continued study and reflection.
This three piece whisky set brings those symbols together across the decanter and two matching glasses. The apothecary style decanter is engraved with the Second Degree Tracing Board, presenting the symbolic imagery associated with the Fellowcraft Degree. One whisky glass carries the Square & Compasses as presented within the Fellowcraft Degree, while the second is engraved with the Working Tools of the Second Degree: the Square, Level and Plumb Rule.
Each engraving is prepared individually using our traditional sandblasting process, creating a crisp permanent finish that reveals the detail of every design. Presented together, the three pieces form a complete interpretation of the visual language of the Fellowcraft Degree.
The engraving is centred and spaced to maintain balance within the available engraving area.
