The Story Behind the Design

The tracing boards of the three Craft Degrees brought together as a coordinated set of three engraved whisky glasses, celebrating the progression from Entered Apprentice to Master Mason.

Progression through the Craft Degrees is marked by study, reflection and experience. Each degree introduces its own tracing board, bringing together the symbols and allegories that accompany that stage of a Mason's journey.

This set of three whisky glasses presents the tracing boards of the Entered Apprentice, Fellowcraft and Master Mason Degrees, with one design engraved onto each glass. Together they form a visual progression through the three Craft Degrees, allowing each tracing board to be appreciated individually while creating a coordinated set when displayed together.

Each engraving is prepared individually using our traditional sandblasting process, producing a crisp permanent finish that captures the detail and symbolism of every tracing board. Presented in a satin lined gift box, the set makes a distinctive presentation piece for a newly installed Master Mason or personal milestone.

Line weight and spacing are adjusted to retain definition across finer engraved elements.
