The Five Sisters of Kintail form one of Scotland's finest mountain ridges, stretching westwards above Glen Shiel in a continuous line of interconnected summits. Their sweeping profile and rugged skyline have made them one of the Highlands' most admired mountain landscapes, rewarding both distant views and long days on the ridge.
Prepared specifically for engraving, this illustration captures the full sweep of the Five Sisters as a single composition, revealing the rhythm of the peaks and the glen below through finely judged linework and contrast.
