The Story Behind the Design
This design interprets the structure and rhythm of Venetian needle lace as an engraved border. The lacework is redrawn for glass, with line weight, scale and spacing adjusted to suit the engraving area.
The lace border frames an invitation to sign the guestbook, with the couple’s names, wedding date and chosen wording arranged across the flat face of the bevelled glass plaque.
Engraving & Personalisation
This design allows for a structured inscription, arranged across the engraving to maintain clarity and balance.
Each layout is composed in the studio to suit the design and form of the glass.
A Personalisation Layout is provided before engraving so you can check the wording, names, dates and other factual information supplied with your order.
