The Story Behind the Design

The unicorn has formed part of Scottish symbolism for centuries, appearing in heraldry as a creature associated with strength, independence and an untamed nature. In Scottish tradition it is less a gentle fairy tale animal than a powerful and restless one.

This composition shows two unicorns running together through swirling water, their manes carried into the movement around them. The engraving draws on that older, wilder character, using motion and flowing line to give the pair a sense of freedom and momentum.

The 450ml Mineral Water Glass features a gently curved bowl that narrows slightly towards the rim, offering a more refined silhouette than a standard tumbler. The shape provides a comfortable hold while maintaining a clear engraving field across the upper bowl.

Its capacity allows for versatile use across water, soft drinks and lighter serves while maintaining a cohesive table presence.
