Signatures That Stay With Them

More Than a Leaving Card — A Keepsake

Celebrate a colleague, teammate, or friend with a piece that captures every signature in one lasting keepsake. Each glass is engraved with your handwritten messages or signatures, prepared with care to retain their character and clarity. A thoughtful alternative to a card — created to be kept, displayed, and remembered.

Some moments deserve more than a card. Our Signature Glassware takes the messages and signatures of the people who matter — the team they’ve grown with, the friends they’ve worked alongside, the colleagues who want to say “we won’t forget you” — and engraves them permanently into glass.

Each signature is redrawn by hand to preserve its character, spacing, and natural line. Once refined, the full layout is arranged to feel balanced and personal, then engraved in our studio using traditional sandblasting for a smooth, lasting finish. The result is a piece that holds not just names, but appreciation. A modern take on the classic leaving card, created to be displayed for years to come.

How to Send Your Signatures

Once you've placed your order, simply scan each signature in black ink on plain white paper and email them to us. Signatures can be sent across multiple pages, we'll take care of arranging them into a balanced, elegant design around the bowl. If you're also including a logo, please attach it as a high-resolution file (vector preferred, but we can advise if needed).

What Makes It Special

  • Your logo or message prepared as crisp, redrawn artwork.
  • Balanced layouts designed specifically for each glass or gift piece.
  • Traditional sandblasting for a smooth, refined engraving finish.
  • Crafted for professional settings, presentations and long-term display.
  • A considered way to recognise achievement and strengthen relationships.

If your branding contains very fine detail, we will suggest adjustments to maintain clarity once engraved.

Corporate Engraving

Made for milestones, partnerships and the people who shape your business.

Our corporate pieces are created to recognise achievement with clarity and consideration. Whether marking a partnership, honouring long service, or presenting an award, each design is prepared with the same care we bring to all of our engraved work. Clean layouts, balanced typography and hand-finished engraving ensure your message is presented with confidence and elegance.

Corporate Engraving
Corporate Engraving

A meaningful corporate gift should feel personal without being elaborate, understated without losing presence. Our approach begins with understanding the purpose behind the piece: the occasion, the recipient, and the message you want it to carry.

Every logo, crest, or line of text is redrawn as vector artwork to ensure accuracy and legibility on glass. From there, each element is composed to suit the shape and scale of your chosen piece, taking into account viewing angles, balance and how the engraving interacts with light.

Once final artwork is approved, the engraving is completed by hand using traditional sandblasting — a slow, analogue process that creates a smooth, tactile finish you can feel with your fingertips. The result is a piece that represents your organisation with quiet confidence, and one that can be displayed proudly long after the moment has passed.

Traditional Sandblast Engraving

For over four decades, every glass that leaves our studio has been engraved using a time-honoured sandblasting technique, a craft rooted in precision, patience, and the belief that meaningful gifts deserve more than a quick machine-made mark. Unlike surface printing or shallow laser etching, sandblast engraving cuts softly into the glass to create a deep, permanent finish with a beautifully tactile feel. It’s the reason our designs look crisp from every angle and remain flawless for a lifetime.

  1. Artwork Refined With Care

Your chosen design or personalisation is transformed into precise vector artwork, a format that captures every fine line, curve, and serif. This allows us to prepare an engraving layout that balances perfectly on the shape of the glass. Whether it’s a portrait, a crest, or a message, every element is positioned by hand to ensure it sits naturally within the piece.

  2. Creating the Single-Use Stencil

The artwork is then transferred onto a specialist stencil using UV exposure. Each stencil is created for one single engraving only, never reused, which means the edges remain sharp and the details stay crisp. The stencil is carefully hand-applied and burnished onto the glass to protect every area that should remain clear.

  3. Hand-Engraved Using Fine Aluminium Oxide

The glass is taken into the blasting cabinet, where a controlled stream of fine aluminium oxide gently cuts into the exposed areas of the surface. This stage is done entirely by hand, allowing us to deepen lines, soften shading, and shape textures in a way machines simply cannot replicate. Each piece takes time — but the result is unmistakable: a smooth satin finish with real depth and character.

  4. Finishing, Polishing & Inspection

Once engraved, the stencil is removed and the glass is thoroughly cleaned and polished to reveal the final detail. Every piece is then checked for balance, clarity, depth and alignment. Only when it meets our studio’s standards is it gift-boxed and ready to become part of someone’s story.

Sandblast engraving has been at the heart of our work since 1982. It remains the most beautiful and enduring method of personalising glass, a blend of heritage craft and modern precision. From small keepsakes to intricate commissions, every piece is made by hand, one at a time, from our studio in Fife.
