Verity's Pavilion at Lord's, prepared as an architectural study of cricket's most celebrated ground
The Pavilion at Lord's is one of the most recognisable buildings in world cricket, its Victorian architecture remaining largely unchanged for more than a century.
This illustration concentrates on the building's distinctive façade, from its twin towers to the layered balconies that overlook the famous ground. Carefully redrawn for engraving, the design preserves the character and proportions of the Pavilion while creating a detailed architectural composition suited to glass.
Line weight and spacing are adjusted to retain definition across finer engraved elements.
