The Story Behind the Design
The clubhouse beside the Old Course is shown together with the Swilcan Bridge and surrounding landscape, bringing several familiar elements of St Andrews into a single composition. The Victorian façade remains the architectural focus, with the bridge and course establishing the wider setting.
Drawn specifically for engraving on glass, architectural detail is simplified where necessary while preserving the proportions, structure and defining features of the original subject. Line weight and spacing are adjusted so the design remains clear at the scale of the glass.

A short personal inscription may be included with this design. Each engraving is arranged in the studio to suit the composition of the glass.
