About This Bespoke Commission

Your child's drawing, handwriting or artwork is carefully prepared in the studio and adapted for engraving around the shape of the glass, preserving the character of the original while ensuring every detail engraves clearly.

Personalisation can include names, dates or a short message where space allows, making each piece unique to the occasion.

A proof is supplied for approval before engraving begins.

The Glass

Taller tulip-bowled wine glass with elongated stem and refined proportions, offering an expanded engraving field and elevated visual line.

  • Height 235 mm
  • Width 90 mm
  • Capacity 90 ml

The Atelier wine glass features a taller bowl profile and slimmer stem compared to the Signature version, creating a more elongated silhouette. The additional bowl height provides a larger engraving area, allowing detailed crests, monograms or multi-line inscriptions to be positioned with improved spacing and clarity.

The refined stem and balanced foot contribute to a lighter visual profile while maintaining stability for display and table presentation.

The artwork is redrawn and adjusted so it engraves clearly on glass.

Design & Engraving Layout

Design & Engraving Layout

An Engraving Layout is prepared and issued for approval before engraving begins.

For children’s designs, the Bespoke Design Service includes the careful redrawing of your child’s original drawing and handwriting as artwork created specifically for sandblast engraving. The design is developed to engrave clearly whilst preserving the character of the original.

Before design work begins, you'll receive a Bespoke Commission Summary setting out the agreed brief, intended finished commission and costs. The Bespoke Design Service is commissioned separately and includes your artwork proof for review and approval.

Once the final artwork proof has been approved, you'll receive an invoice or private listing for the remaining balance of your commission. Production will begin once the remaining balance has been paid.

Approved artwork is retained within our studio archive, making it straightforward to commission additional pieces using the same design. Where the existing artwork can be used without further design work, a further design fee will not normally apply.
