The distinctive grandstand at Ascot Racecourse, prepared as an architectural study of one of Britain's best known sporting venues.
This illustration focuses on the sweeping roofline and symmetrical façade of the modern Ascot grandstand, translating its structural rhythm and clean geometry into a composition prepared specifically for engraving on glass.
Every line has been simplified and redrawn by hand to preserve the balance and character of the original architecture while remaining clear and durable in the engraving process.
Line weight and spacing are adjusted to retain definition across finer engraved elements.
