This design presents your chosen Coat of Arms as a fuller heraldic composition, incorporating the shield, crest, mantling and surname. Each Coat of Arms is prepared individually using established heraldic references to ensure the correct arms are reproduced for your chosen family.
The Atelier Edition expands the traditional heraldic presentation while preserving the proportions and detail of the original arms, creating a composition particularly suited to larger engraving areas.
Each engraving is prepared individually using our traditional sandblasting process, producing a crisp permanent finish that captures the detail and character of your family's heraldic arms.
Additional heraldic detailing is incorporated to create a fuller composition while preserving the structure of the original arms.

The Commission Process
Each commission is prepared individually in our studio, with artwork reviewed and approved before engraving begins.
Artwork Review
We review the crest, insignia or reference provided and assess how it will translate clearly into engraving.
Design & Engraving Layout
Where required, artwork is refined or redrawn for engraving. An Engraving Layout is prepared and issued for approval before engraving begins.
Engraving & Finishing
Once approved, the piece is engraved by hand in our Fife studio and prepared for presentation or display.
