The Story Behind the Design

Originating in the fishing village of Claddagh near Galway, the Claddagh combines a heart, hands and crown to represent love, friendship and loyalty. This engraved interpretation places the historic symbol at the centre of the design, framed by decorative flourishes and shamrock motifs.

The engraving is centred and spaced to maintain balance within the available engraving area.

The Glass

Tall, elongated tulip-profile prosecco glass with slender stem and extended vertical engraving field.

The Atelier prosecco glass features a significantly taller bowl and fine, elongated stem, creating a refined vertical silhouette. The extended surface height provides a larger engraving panel, allowing detailed monograms, crests and multi-line inscriptions to be arranged with improved spacing and clarity.

The slender stem and balanced foot maintain visual lightness while supporting stable display and formal table presentation.

    Each piece is engraved in our Fife studio using traditional sandblasting, chosen for its depth, clarity and permanence.
