Engraved Luckenbooth Glassware

The Luckenbooth is one of Scotland's best known symbols of love and commitment. Inspired by the traditional form of intertwined hearts beneath a crown, this collection reinterprets the historic motif for engraved glassware, combining Scottish heritage with contemporary craftsmanship.

From Artwork to Engraving

Each commission follows the same studio process, from artwork preparation and proof approval through to hand sandblasting and finishing in our Fife workshop.

Artwork Preparation

A digital proof is provided for approval before engraving.

Traditional Sandblasting

Each piece is engraved by hand using traditional sandblast techniques.

The Story Behind the Collection

Traditionally exchanged as tokens of affection, Luckenbooths became enduring symbols of love, loyalty and protection throughout Scotland. Our engraved interpretation combines the characteristic hearts and crown with Celtic knotwork, thistle motifs and a stag's head, creating a collection that draws on Scottish tradition while remaining distinctive to the studio.
