The Story Behind the Design

The laurel wreath frames a personalised milestone number to mark years of service. Names, dates, an organisation’s name and presentation wording complete the composition.

The scale of the wreath and the spacing of the inscription are adjusted to suit the engraving area beside the handle, keeping the milestone number and supporting wording clear.

Each piece is engraved using our traditional sandblasting process, producing a crisp, permanent finish.

This design allows for a structured inscription, arranged across the engraving to maintain clarity and balance.

Each layout is composed in the studio to suit the design and form of the glass.

The Standard Tankard features a straight-sided body, broad handle and a decorative star-cut base that adds weight and traditional character.

The cylindrical form provides a generous engraving area suitable for crests, lodge emblems, event marks or presentation inscriptions. Designed to feel solid in the hand, it balances everyday practicality with ceremonial presence.
