The Story Behind the Design
A stylised rude girl set within a checkerboard roundel, inspired by ska and 2 Tone culture
Britain’s ska revival developed a strong visual identity alongside the music, drawing on sharp clothing, dance, bold monochrome graphics and the influence of 2 Tone culture.
This design centres on a stylised female figure, using stance and movement to carry that visual language onto the glass. The illustration is kept graphic and uncluttered, allowing the figure to remain the focus of the composition.
Line and detail are simplified where necessary so the silhouette remains clear and recognisable at engraving scale.
Engraving & Personalisation
A short personal inscription may be included with this design. Each engraving is arranged in the studio to suit the composition of the glass.
If your requirements extend beyond the personalisation available on this listing, please get in touch. Longer inscriptions or more complex requirements may require a bespoke quotation.
A Personalisation Layout is provided before engraving so you can check the wording, names, dates and other factual information supplied with your order.
