The Story Behind the Design
The Liver Bird has long been recognised as one of Liverpool's best known civic symbols. This design reimagines the familiar emblem by placing an engagement ring in its beak, creating a subtle interpretation that celebrates both the city and an important personal milestone. Originally developed as a design study, it explores how familiar civic emblems can be adapted to mark life's memorable occasions while remaining instantly recognisable.
Line weight and spacing are adjusted to retain definition across finer engraved elements.
