This design presents your chosen Scottish Clan Crest in the traditional belt and buckle form associated with Scottish heraldry. Each crest is prepared individually using recognised heraldic references, ensuring the correct crest, belt, buckle, clan name and motto are reproduced for your chosen clan.
The Atelier Edition surrounds the traditional heraldic design with hand drawn Scottish thistles, creating a larger composition that celebrates both the individual clan and its Scottish heritage while preserving the proportions of the original crest.
Each engraving is prepared individually using our traditional sandblasting process, producing a crisp permanent finish that captures the detail of both the heraldic crest and the surrounding botanical artwork.
Additional thistle detailing is incorporated beneath the crest, creating a fuller composition while preserving the structure of the original heraldic reference.

Where required, artwork is refined or redrawn for engraving. An Engraving Layout is prepared and issued for approval before engraving begins.
Engraving & Finishing
Once approved, the piece is engraved by hand in our Fife studio and prepared for presentation or display.
