What’s Your Poison?

Glassware with a Darkly Playful Edge

Inspired by the forms and markings of traditional apothecary bottles, this collection draws on historic labelling, measured type, and the visual language of early chemistry and medicine.

Each design is prepared for engraving with clarity and balance in mind, translating these references into compositions that sit cleanly and permanently on the glass.

Collection: Engraved Vintage Apothecary Glassware

These designs draw on the structure and ornament of historical apothecary labelling, where intricate borders and decorative frameworks surround a single, central name. Substances such as Belladonna, Cyanide, Arsenic and Strychnine are set within these compositions, creating a clear focal point held in balance by finely detailed engraving.

The emphasis is on proportion, line and contrast, allowing each piece to carry presence while remaining precise and legible across the surface of the glass.
