Presentation Bowls for Forth Valley College

This commission involved producing a set of five engraved glass presentation bowls for use at an event overseas.

Each piece was prepared with two elements. The College’s logo was engraved on one side, with a stag motif from the Entwined Echoes collection set on the reverse.

Reference and Layout

The two designs were positioned to sit in balance across the bowl.

The logo was prepared for clarity and legibility, while the stag motif was scaled to suit the curvature of the glass, allowing both elements to read cleanly when viewed from different angles.

Preparation and Engraving

Artwork for each side was prepared separately, then aligned to ensure consistent placement across the full set.

The designs were transferred to stencil and sandblasted to produce a uniform etched finish. Care was taken to maintain consistency across all five pieces.

Outcome

The completed bowls form a matched set, each carrying the same paired design and prepared for formal presentation.

Each piece was supplied in a satin-lined box for transport.

A set of presentation pieces, prepared as a group and resolved through consistent layout and engraving.
