About Your Commission

This piece has been prepared from your approved artwork and reflects the design agreed. The engraving layout has been refined in the studio so it is clear, balanced and suited to the selected glass. All elements, including text, spacing and composition, follow the approved proof.

Purchase of this listing confirms approval of the engraving layout and wording as shown.

Once produced, the design is sandblasted by hand, cutting the artwork permanently into the surface of the glass. This creates a precise, satin-etched finish with a subtle depth that can be felt to the touch.

Each piece is engraved to order in our Fife studio and prepared individually through to final finishing.

Your engraving layout will be retained in our studio archive should additional pieces be required in the future.

The Glass

Traditional glass tankard with solid handle and decorative star-cut base.

The Standard Tankard features a straight-sided body, broad handle and a decorative star-cut base that adds weight and traditional character.

The cylindrical form provides a generous engraving area suitable for crests, lodge emblems, event marks or presentation inscriptions. Designed to feel solid in the hand, it balances everyday practicality with ceremonial presence.
