About Your Decanter

Hand-finished from crystal-clear glass, the Atelier Sculptured Decanter narrows elegantly from a broad, weighty bubble base to a slender neck, giving every pour a graceful, ribbon-like flow. The generous 950 ml capacity suits whisky, wine, or infused spirits, while the tall taper creates a striking canvas for deep, satin-smooth engraving. Each decanter is individually masked, sandblasted, and polished in our Fife studio, a quiet, hands-on process that takes about an hour for a straightforward design and longer for personalised crests or wrap-around motifs. The result is an heirloom-quality finish that pairs refined form with enduring craft.

Our traditional sandblast engraving delivers crisp detail, deep texture, and a tactile satin finish that stands apart from laser or transfer methods. Hand-engraved in our Fife studio using single-use stencils, each piece is prepared, blasted, and polished by hand for exceptional sharpness and permanence.

How it’s done:

  1. Artwork is refined as a vector for clean, precise lines.
  2. A UV-exposed stencil is created for single-use masking.
  3. Stencils and tape are applied to the glass by hand.
  4. Each piece is sandblasted by hand for depth and detail.
  5. Finally, it’s cleaned, polished, inspected, and gift-boxed.
