The Story Behind the Design
In Scottish folklore, the kelpie is a shape-shifting spirit said to haunt lochs and rivers, often appearing as a majestic horse with a wild and untameable energy. This design captures two kelpies thundering out of the water, their forms twisted in motion as waves crash around them — one facing east, the other west, as if to guard the loch on either side. It’s a powerful symbol of nature’s force and the mysteries that still stir beneath the surface. Beneath the design, there's space to engrave a personal message, making this glass both a tribute to Scotland’s enduring legends and a deeply meaningful gift.
