The Story Behind the Collection

Every portrait begins with careful observation rather than illustration. Shapes, texture and contrast are simplified into an engraving that preserves expression while remaining clean enough to reproduce consistently on glass.

Presented within a circular composition, the collection shares a consistent visual format that places the focus firmly on the subject. Each design is developed specifically for engraving, creating portraits that are recognisable from across the room while rewarding closer inspection.
