The Detail

The product offered two wording variations, but only one visual example was shown. Although the preferred wording could be selected at checkout, the listing left enough room for misunderstanding that the wording was confirmed before preparation began.

A short message was sent to verify the exact version required.

Preparation and Engraving

Once confirmed, the artwork was prepared to match the selected wording, with spacing and layout adjusted accordingly.

The design was then transferred to stencil and sandblasted to achieve a consistent etched finish.

Outcome

The finished piece matched the customer's intended wording exactly, with the engraving prepared using the confirmed text.

The experience also prompted a review of the product listing itself. Additional imagery was later added to ensure future customers could clearly see both wording options before ordering.
