The Story Behind the Design

Three figures. One sound. A movement that left its mark. This engraved pint glass features an original silhouette of a classic three-piece band lineup The Jam — guitar, bass, and drums — captured mid-performance in a bold, black-and-white style that nods to the raw energy of late ‘70s mod revival.

Drawn by hand and engraved using traditional sandblasting techniques in our Scottish studio, this design is a tribute to stripped-back music with a sharp edge — and the fans who never stopped listening. Whether you were there at the front, or discovered the scene through well-worn vinyl, this glass hits the right note.

What Makes It Special

  • Features an original hand-drawn silhouette of a three-piece mod-inspired band
  • Clean, striking layout ideal for fans of British subculture and guitar music
  • Hand-engraved in Scotland using traditional deep-cut sandblasting
  • Permanent satin-smooth finish that won’t wash, chip, or fade
  • A subtle, respectful homage to a sound that still echoes today

Perfect For

  • Mod revival fans, music lovers, and collectors
  • Gifts for birthdays, gigs, record collectors, and scooter mates
  • Those who appreciate authentic style and analogue energy
  • Pairing with vinyl, bitter, and a back catalogue that never gets old

About Your Glass

This tall pint glass features a sleek, slightly pinched curve for a comfortable hold and smooth pour, perfect for lagers, ales, or ciders. Each glass is individually masked, sandblasted, and polished by hand in our Fife studio. Simpler engravings take around 30–40 minutes to prepare, while personalised or more detailed designs extend that quiet, careful process resulting in a satin-smooth finish designed to endure.

Our traditional sandblast engraving delivers crisp detail, deep texture, and a tactile satin finish that stands apart from laser or transfer methods. Hand-engraved in our Fife studio using single-use stencils, each piece is prepared, blasted, and polished by hand for exceptional sharpness and permanence.

How it’s done:

  1. Artwork is refined as a vector for clean, precise lines.
  2. A UV-exposed stencil is created for single-use masking.
  3. Stencils and tape are applied to the glass by hand.
  4. Each piece is sandblasted by hand for depth and detail.
  5. Finally, it’s cleaned, polished, inspected, and gift-boxed.

A time-honoured process that combines heritage craft with contemporary precision.
