Your Design, Our Craft

The Story Behind Your Design

This bespoke listing has been created especially for you, based on our recent conversation - and your brilliant idea to engrave a personalised message onto your own whisky bottle.

Custom projects like this are among our favourites: they combine personal significance with thoughtful craftsmanship, and we're honoured you've entrusted us with yours.

Your design has been carefully tailored to your brief, including layout preferences, wording, and any specific details we discussed.

Each piece is hand-engraved by John using traditional sandblasting techniques to create a satin-smooth finish with lasting clarity. Whether marking a special day or crafting a heartfelt keepsake, we’re proud to help you create something one of a kind.

Important Note – Customer-Supplied Bottle

Please note: As this is a customer-supplied item, engraving is carried out at your own risk.

We take every possible care during the engraving process, but there’s always a small chance of damage due to differences in bottle shape or glass quality.
By sending your bottle for engraving, you acknowledge and accept this risk.
We’re unable to offer compensation or replacement for items not supplied by us.

About Your Glass

This classic copa de balon gin glass features a generous, rounded bowl, ideal for allowing the botanicals of gin and mixer to open up beautifully. It’s equally suited to artisan cocktails or Belgian-style beers. Each glass is individually masked, sandblasted, and polished in our Fife studio using traditional techniques. Simpler engravings take around 30–40 minutes, while personalised or intricate designs extend the quiet, careful process to ensure a crisp satin finish that will last a lifetime.

More Details

This listing contains images which are digital artwork mock-ups, created to illustrate your bespoke design. It reflects the engraving layout based on our conversations and agreed brief, but the final hand-engraved result may vary slightly in detail due to the nature of our craft. By completing your purchase, you confirm that the details listed reflect our agreed design brief.

If you have provided your own logo, crest, or artwork for engraving, you confirm that you either own the rights or have obtained the necessary permission to use it. Just The Ticket cannot be held responsible for any copyright infringement in artwork you supply. As this piece is personalised and engraved to order, it isn’t eligible for a refund. However, if your item arrives damaged or faulty, we’ll be happy to offer a replacement.

Engraving on Tapered Glasses

Please note that when a rectangular design is engraved onto a tapered glass, text and borders may appear to follow a slight curve. This is a natural effect of the glass shape. Where appropriate, artwork can be pre-distorted (using a dieline) to counteract this, which may alter/distort the original proportions of the design. By placing your order, you acknowledge and accept these characteristics as part of the engraving process.

Please Note: Bespoke listings remain active for 4 days from the date of creation. If the order has not been placed within this time, the listing will be removed to make space for new commissions. After this period, a new listing can be created, but artwork fees and lead times may need to be reconfirmed.

Our traditional sandblast engraving delivers crisp detail, deep texture, and a tactile satin finish that stands apart from laser or transfer methods. Hand-engraved in our Fife studio using single-use stencils, each piece is prepared, blasted, and polished by hand for exceptional sharpness and permanence.

How it’s done:

  1. Artwork is refined as a vector for clean, precise lines.
  2. A UV-exposed stencil is created for single-use masking.
  3. Stencils and tape are applied to the glass by hand.
  4. Each piece is sandblasted by hand for depth and detail.
  5. Finally, it’s cleaned, polished, inspected, and gift-boxed.

A time-honoured process that combines heritage craft with contemporary precision.
