The Commission

Rooted in the tradition of the festive board, this classic Masonic firing glass is engraved with your own lodge crest or badge, prepared with clarity and respect.

Its compact, weighted form echoes historic lodgeware, designed to deliver the distinctive “firing” toast while placing the focus firmly on your lodge identity.

Optional personalisation for name, rank and year allows each piece to mark a specific office, installation or milestone — prepared individually in our Fife studio using traditional sandblasting for depth and permanence.

Each piece is engraved to order in our Fife studio for corporate milestones, institutional recognition and formal presentation. Designed for clarity, balance and permanence, every commission follows a structured artwork and approval process before engraving begins.

Listed price reflects the engraved piece supplied in its presentation box. Artwork preparation and logo redraw, where required, are quoted separately following artwork review.

    The Commission Process

Each commission follows a structured studio process to ensure clarity, proportion and approval prior to production.

    Artwork Review

We assess feasibility, scale and engraving suitability before production.

    Proof Approval

A digital layout is issued for confirmation prior to engraving.

    Production & Dispatch

Engraved to order in our Fife studio following approval.

For many lodge crests and established emblems, artwork preparation is minimal and often already held within our studio archives. Where this is the case, it forms part of the standard process.

Where a design requires refinement, redraw or structural adjustment to suit engraving, this is confirmed following initial review and prepared accordingly prior to production.

    Form & Proportion

Traditional conical firing glass formed in 10% lead crystal, with weighted base and defined vertical engraving panel.

Best for: Lodge firing ceremonies, formal toasts, commemorative inscriptions and structured emblem engraving.

    • Height: 110 mm
    • Diameter: 60 mm
    • Capacity: 100 ml

Modelled on historic lodgeware forms, the glass features a crisp conical bowl set on a solid rounded base. The thickness and lead crystal content provide weight and resonance during formal firing toasts, while the straight-sided profile allows crests, dates and lodge insignia to be engraved clearly.

Designed for ceremonial use and presentation display.
