The Old Man of Storr is one of Skye’s most iconic sights — a jagged, otherworldly formation that rises sharply from the landscape and holds deep meaning for those who’ve walked its trails. This engraved beer glass captures that dramatic silhouette in fine detail, with THE OLD MAN OF STORR ISLE OF SKYE engraved beneath in crisp uppercase Helvetica Neue Bold.

Available in two sizes — a smaller 380ml and a more curved 620ml version — this glass offers the same considered craftsmanship and personal option as the rest of the range. You can add an optional message of up to 30 characters beneath the place name, making it a unique gift or personal memento.

About Your Glass

Our stemmed beer glass comes in two perfectly-balanced sizes to suit any pour. The small, 380 ml version is ideal for a 330 ml bottle or craft can, while the large, 620 ml bowl comfortably holds a full pint with headspace. Both share the same refined profile: a rounded bowl that concentrates aroma, a slender stem that keeps the beer cool, and a broad engraving area that shows off intricate detail. Each glass is individually masked, sandblasted, and polished by hand in our Fife studio. A straightforward design takes around 30–40 minutes to engrave; personalised artwork adds a little extra time, yielding a crisp satin finish that endures glass after glass.

Our traditional sandblast engraving delivers crisp detail, deep texture, and a tactile satin finish that stands apart from laser or transfer methods. Hand-engraved in our Fife studio using single-use stencils, each piece is prepared, blasted, and polished by hand for exceptional sharpness and permanence.

How it’s done:

  1. Artwork is refined as a vector for clean, precise lines.
  2. A UV-exposed stencil is created for single-use masking.
  3. Stencils and tape are applied to the glass by hand.
  4. Each piece is sandblasted by hand for depth and detail.
  5. Finally, it’s cleaned, polished, inspected, and gift-boxed.
