Marking Milestones in Glass: A Custom Whisky Set for Summiteers

Some sets are special not just for how they look, but for what they represent.

This bespoke set of four whisky glasses was created to mark a series of extraordinary achievements, a journey across some of Britain’s most iconic landscapes.

Each glass is hand-engraved with its own unique design:

• The West Highland Way route, with key place names carefully wrapped around the glass.
• The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, featuring a detailed wraparound of the peaks.
• The National Three Peaks, Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon, engraved as a full journey around the glass.
• And finally, a view of Striding Edge, captured in a single, detailed engraving on one side, a tribute to one of Britain’s most memorable ridge walks.

Each glass was personalised with the dates the peaks were summited, a small detail that makes the set entirely personal to the recipient.
All four glasses were presented in a satin-lined presentation box, a fitting finish for such an intricate and considered project.

The level of detail involved, from the route lines to the engraved textures of the peaks,  made this one of our most intricate commissions yet.
It’s inspired us to start developing a new design for the Welsh Three Peaks Challenge, a natural next step in a series we hope will continue to grow.
